Duties and responsibilities of the wing

The Wing is functioning in accordance to the guidelines issued by Government vide G.O.(Ms) 2459/2013/LSGD dt 03.10.2013 which include,

• Report to Government to initiate action against various unauthorized constructions.

• Report to Government to initiate action against the officials who issued building permit in violation of Town Planning schemes and building rules.

• Report to Government to regarding lack of action on unauthorized constructions from the Local bodies
• To initiate action on the complaints received from the public regarding the unauthorized constructions.
• To submit technical report on various Government files with respect to building rules & other issues

• Report to Government to initiate action against Licensees who have submitted the plans deviating from building rules and suppressing the facts.

• Constructions carried out deviating from the permit also will be scrutinized and recommend for action.
• Bring to the notice of Government various anomalies relating to the building permit.
• Providing technical clarifications to Government.
